Sponsorship Opportunities

WC&S holds two major agency-sponsored fundraisers each year. In May, we hold our Spring Clothes Out Event, and in November, we hold our Shop To Stop Domestic Violence Event.

We are always looking for generous corporate and business partners who would like to sponsor our events and become creators with us of violence-free homes and safe communities in our region. UPMC Health Plan Spring Clothes Out

Typically, UPMC Health Plan Spring Clothes Out raises over $75,000 for the Women’s Center & Shelter and attracts 250 people each year. The event also honors an individual or group with the Ted Craig Humanitarian Award by choosing someone who has demonstrated a commitment to community service and demonstrated outstanding excellence and achievement in their profession or community in line with our mission of ending intimate partner violence. This year, the UPMC Health Plan Spring Clothes Out Committee honored the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office Domestic Violence Unit for their service and unprecedented work within the legal system and providing justice for women and children affected by intimate partner violence.

Highmark Shop To Stop Domestic Violence

Entering its 8th year, Highmark Shop To Stop Domestic Violence is held in the fall at the Galleria of Mount Lebanon. The Galleria is closed to the general public so that attendees may enjoy and evening of discounted shopping, complimentary food, beverages, live musical entertainment, raffles, auctions, celebrities and more. Shop To Stop is the only event of its kind in the region. It is a great way to kick off the holiday shopping season. The discounts from the Galleria merchants are the attendees' gift for coming to the event; ticket sales, sponsorship, and raffle and auction proceeds benefit WC&S.
