In order to interact with directly with clients, volunteers are required to complete a 40-hour, state-mandated domestic violence training. Participants will learn about confidentiality, the impact of domestic violence on children, safety planning, active listening and women-centered advocacy. Once trained, volunteers will receive at least 10 hours of additional training specific to their volunteer interest(s).
Current Training Schedule and Fee: Monday May 12th - Friday May 16th (all sessions will begin at 5:00 PM and end at 9:00pm). There is a $50 registration fee for the 40-hour training.

Additionally, WC&S is requesting immediate volunteers who are available Monday - Thursday from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. to take referrals at the courts for the MEN/S Group (Batterer Intervention Program).
